Advanced Training and Seminars

As a joint institution for education and advanced training of public and industrial power plant operators, the KWS qualifies power plant operating personnel from plant attendant to shift supervisor and offers special advanced training courses as well as seminars for maintaining and expanding expert knowledge. For almost 50 years, it has thus contributed to an examplary high level of education at power plants, especially in the German speaking areas. The KWS works according to the VGB PowerTech e.V. guidelines and contributes to the power plant’s operational safety, environmental sustainability and economic efficiency.

Advanced Training and Seminar Program

Every year, the KWS develops new training courses for power plant personnel besides the established traditional courses. The programme is published as a booklet.
