Infrastructure

The KWS provides suitable conditions for effective training, from modern classrooms and technical equipment to competent instructors, excellent teaching materials, accommodation and leisure facilities.

The modern training center of the KWS is situated in the idyllic Deilbachtal in Essen-Kupferdreh. The extensive complex contains classrooms, two simulator control rooms, numerous laboratories and recreation areas.

Situated in the direct neighbourhood are the sister organisations KSG (Kraftwerks-Simulator-Gesellschaft mbH) and GfS (Gesellschaft für Simulatorforschung mbH) which are responsible for the simulator training of nuclear power plant personnel.

Participants travelling to the KWS by car will find ample parking space, and the training center can be reached easily by public transport.
