How do I enroll in a course?

Visit our course catalogue and online registration. You can also call our offices and we can help you with enrollment over the phone.

How will I know if I have successfully enrolled in a course?

KWS will send you a confirmation by regular mail about your course two weeks prior to the start of the course.
Be aware: only a confirmation send to you by regular mail is obligatory. 

Is it possible to sign up for a course at short notice (Even at the day of course beginning)?

You are welcome if there is space available. Please call our office and do not turn up without confirmation. 

How do I get the confirmation of participation for my course?

The confirmation will be send to you by regular mail.

When do I have to pay the bill?

Please pay the fee until 30 days after our invoice has arrived (without allowance).

Something has come up and I need to cancel my course enrolment. Will I receive a refund?

Cancellations received at least 15 working days prior to the start of the course are entitled to a full refund. After that date, we are unable to give a full refund. However you can participate in another course. In this case be aware: For courses which take place once a year you have to pay the difference of a markup.

I have booked a course but now I have decided to choose another one!

It’s no problem if you change in time. Please change the course two weeks prior to the start. In this case it is obligatory to send us an informal email.

I have booked a course but it isn’t possible for me to take part. Now I want a colleague to represent me.

That’s no problem, but it is obligatory to send us an informal email.

How to arrive KWS?

Is there parking space near to KWS?

Yes, participants travelling to the KWS by car will find ample parking space.

How to get accomodation?

By request we send to you a list of hotels nearby KWS where you can book a hotel room. For our long term course participants we offer rooms in our apartment house about 15 driving minutes away from the training center. 

I would like to sign up for a course, but the period don"t fit. How do I get another one?

You find other periods in the actual training and seminar program on this website. Additionally it is possible to order the catalogue with the contact form or download as PDF here.

When do I get my certificate?

In seminars, which take place in our house, we hand out the certificate on the last day of the event. If the event takes place in your house, we send the certificate to you about one week after the seminar has finished

When do I get my course materials?

During seminars we handle out the course materials directly at the beginning of the course. During our long term seminars (plant operator, shift supervisor) we send a list with all the study books you need for your course, so you can order the books prior to the beginning of the course. The documents are sent to you or handed out at the beginning of the course.

Is it possible to buy the course material without participating a seminar?

You find a publication list of the VGB in the actual training and seminar program. Additionally it is possible to have a look at the list right here or to visit the VGB online shop and buy the documents there.

Where do I find exact information about beginning and ending of a seminar?

You find the information on this website and additionally in the training- and seminar program.

I signed up for a course but now I want to change for another course!

What advantages do I have as a member?

As a member you receive a discount on courses of 20%.

How will I become a member?
